Portal Feeder - Almost 2 Years old!
by Jeff on Nov.06, 2007, under Blog, Portal Feeder
Portal Feeder one month from today will be 2 years old and I have been involved with it since its launch on Dec. 6 2005. What has happened since then is nothing I could have possibly imagined.
Jason Potash, Jason Katzenback and Marc Quarles had developed a software package that was somewhat mysterious and they kept everone guessing as to what it might be. Oh sure they let out some enticing tidbits about the product and also since it was a very limited membership the doors would only be open for a short amount of time. Talk about building interest. Volumes could be written about this.
Suffice it to say I made it in before the doors slammed shut. What did I find on the inside?
A lot of work.
Not that a lot of work is a bad thing mind you, but it soon became apparent that to get anywhere in this business you need to invest your time and talent to get any sort of return. Up until my membership with Portal Feeder I was going along thinking that if I got the right software package the money would start rolling in. At least that was what all the "Gurus" had been telling me. The days of easy money from adsense are long gone and you need the right tools, training and support to make it in the internet marketing world.
Needless to say after I got signed up I was chomping at the bit to get going. I signed up with the forum (This is the crown jewel in the Portal Feeder universe IMHO) and started digging into the training. It was a bit touch and go at first, there were technical issues and a learning curve to climb. It took about two months before I had my first working portal.
During this time I was becoming a PF forum junkie. I was trying to take all of the information in from people worldwide with varying degrees of experience and knowlege. Some of the most amazing insight into how the world of internet marketing and running a business in general was beginning to coalesce into an unbelevable storehouse of knowledge. Any question you could possibly have more than likely would have an answer by someone in the forum.
Today the forum has evolved and gotten better and better. We have added new blood in the last six months with a couple of limited door openings that have increased our ranks and added to an already august group.
The doors will open again soon so don’t be left out in the cold. Sign up to be notified for the next Portal Feeder window of opportunity. You’ll be glad you did
By the way the software is phenomenal and I will cover that in another post.
